Deep Silver e Volition hanno pubblicato il primo di una serie di video-diari di sviluppo dedicati all’attesissimo Saints Row IV, che di volta in volta approfondiranno degli aspetti relativi alla realizzazione del gioco. Il filmato è interamente sottotitolato in italiano, ed è quindi comprensibile anche da chi non mastica la lingua d’Albione.

Ricordiamo ai naviganti che Saints Row IV sarà disponibile il 20 agosto 2013 in Nord America e in America Latina, e il 23 Agosto in tutto il resto del mondo (Europa compresa) su piattaforme Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 e PC. Chissà che i Volition non abbiano in serbo anche una versione next-gen? Staremo a vedere.
Esattamente come da tradizione per la serie troveremo una massiccia dose di humor (quasi sempre demenziale) e di situazioni ben oltre il limite del surreale: basti pensare che la trama di Saints Row IV vedrà infatti il boss dei Saints nell’improbabile doppio ruolo di Presidente degli Stati Uniti e di salvatore dell’intero pianeta terra (?). Il filo narrativo si collegherà direttamente con la fine del terzo capitolo, garantendo una continuità della storia, per quanto sia importante in un titolo del genere.
Saints Row IV: elenco degli obiettivi sbloccabili
Saints Row IV è ormai alle porte, e non poteva quindi mancare, con il doveroso anticipo, la lista degli obiettivi sbloccabili. Visto che il gioco è folle, anche gli obiettivi sono piuttosto bizzarri: potete leggerli di seguito, ma attenzione: alcuni di essi potrebbero anticiparvi piccole parti della trama, quindi invitiamo i puristi che non vogliono vedersi “spoilerare” niente a passare al prossimo articolo.
Saints Row IV arriverà il 23 agosto su PC, PlayStation 3 e Xbox 360. All’edizione liscia farà compagnia anche la collector’s edition chiamata Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition (99,99 euro per PS3 e Xbox 360 e 89,99 euro per PC), che contiene una replica di 30 centimetri della pistola dubstep, una statuetta celebrativa di Johnny Gat alta 20 centimetri, un bottone dell’apocalisse dubstep tascabile. I fan che acquisteranno la Collector’s Edition riceveranno anche tutti gli oggetti di gioco relativi al bonus di prenotazione Commander in Chief, tra cui il jet Aquila Urlatrice, un’iconica uniforme di “Zio Sam” in edizione limitata, con i colori della bandiera americana e la ‘Merica Gun, “l’oggetto del desiderio di tutti gli americani”. Yeah!

Saints Row IV in nuove immagini dall’E3 2013 non viene lesinato: ecco a voi una nuova galleria immagini diffusa proprio per l’occasione.
Non c’è che dire: sembra che questa serie riesca nella difficilissima impresa di essere più folle a ogni nuovo gioco.
