Dal keynote Microsoft dell’E3 2008 è stata svelata la lista delle canzoni di Rock Band 2. La grossa sorpresa è che per la prima volta nella ancora breve storia di questo genere videoludico, i leggendari AC/DC hanno permesso di utilizzare una loro canzone.
Si tratta di “Let There Be Rock“, tratta dall’omonimo album del 1977. Chiaramente qualcuno poteva sperare in “Back in Black” o “Thunderstruck”, ma non si può volere tutto dalla vita. Presenti anche altre canzoni storiche come “Pinball Wizard” dei The Who, “Give it Away” dei Red Hot Chili Peppers e, altra grossa novità, “Tangled Up in Blue” di Bob Dylan.
Harmonix ha anche spiegato che Rock Band 2 potrà importare tutte le canzoni di Rock Band, che esse siano quelle contenute nel DVD o quelle scaricate come contenuto aggiuntivo.
Rock Band 2 uscirà in Nord America nel mese di settembre in esclusiva Xbox 360, e arriverà qualche mese dopo anche su PlayStation 3 e Wii. Ancora nessuna notizia per l’uscita europea, ma d’altronde noi del vecchio continente stiamo ancora aspettando il primo Rock Band… Dopo la pausa l’elenco completo delle tracce.

15 lug 2008 - 09:50 - #1Mah, mi sono ordinato ieri l’uno da Amazon.co.uk, 55 euro spedizione inclusa - tanto ho già due chitarre (Guitar Hero 2 e 3) che dovrebbero essere compatibili. Per la batteria tanto vale aspettare Guitar Hero World Tour o Rock Band 2, visto che bazzicando sui forum US mi sono convinto che la qualità della batteria di RB1 è veramente bassa. Poi preferisco dare più soldi ad Activision che non mi fa aspettare N mesi per una release italiana e soprattutto non mi spaccia la release in UK, Francia e Germania come “Europea”.
