Il produttore dei The Game Awards 2015 e conduttore della cerimonia che si terrà a inizio dicembre in quel di Los Angeles, Geoff Keighley, annuncia in video le nomination per i migliori videogiochi dell’anno che, come da tradizione per questo premio, verranno indicati da una giuria composta dai principali giornalisti di settore e da alcune delle personalità di spicco dell’industria dell’intrattenimento digitale.

Nella rosa dei titoli scelti dalla critica e dagli esperti di settore per contendersi l’ambito premio per il Gioco dell’Anno troviamo cinque capolavori come DOOM, Inside, Overwatch, Titanfall 2 e Uncharted 4. Per quanto riguarda le altre categorie, invece, le potenziali sorprese dello show potrebbero venire da Oxenfree, The Witness, Firewatch e That Dragon, Cancer.

I vincitori dell’edizione 2016 dei Game Awards verranno annunciati il prossimo 2 dicembre nel corso di una cerimonia che verrà trasmessa in diretta streaming su YouTube, Twitch, PlayStation Network, Xbox Live e sul sito ufficiale dell’iniziativa, nel corso della quale saranno presentati diversi videogiochi inediti attraverso delle mini-dimostrazioni di gioco di massimo quattro minuti (una decisione assunta dallo stesso Keighley in conseguenza delle critiche mossegli lo scorso anno con il teaser trailer ingannevole e fuorviante di No Man’s Sky): nel frattempo, vi lasciamo alla lista delle nomination e alla bianca lavagna dei commenti, attraverso la quale potrete esprimere il vostro parere al riguardo indicandoci i vostri titoli preferiti.
