The Game Awards 2016: Overwatch è Gioco dell'Anno - ecco l'elenco dei premi

La cerimonia dei The Game Awards organizzata da Geoff Keighley e dai più autorevoli attori dell’industria videoludica per premiare i più importanti videogiochi pubblicati nel corso dell’ultimo anno solare ha avuto finalmente luogo e ha incoronato Overwatch come miglior titolo del 2016: lo sparatutto multiplayer di Blizzard riesce a superare l’agguerrita concorrenza di kolossal del calibro di DOOM, Inside, Uncharted 4 e Titanfall 2.

L’ultima edizione losangelina dei Game Awards è stata trasmessa ieri notte in diretta streaming sulle principali piattaforme di condivisione video: nel corso dello show che ha permesso ai vertici di Blizzard di portarsi a casa la statuetta per il miglior videogioco dell’anno sono stati assegnati diversi altri premi in base ai giudizi espressi dalla critica di settore e, nelle categorie legate agli eSports, alle indicazioni dirette degli appassionati ottenute tramite i voti pervenuti in queste settimane sul sito ufficiale dell’iniziativa.

Non meno importanti, e inaspettati, dei risultati raggiunti dal team che ha dato forma al progetto di Overwatch ci sono poi i successi conseguiti da Bethesda con DOOM e Dishonored 2, dal team indipendente di Playdead per l’avvincente avventura a scorrimento Inside, da Niantic per aver stravolgo l’estate videoludica di milioni di persone in tutto il mondo con il fenomeno mobile di Pokemon GO e, ovviamente, agli autori di Naughty Dog per l’ultimo capitolo dell’epopea di Uncharted.
